Calorie Burning Drink That Works While You Sleep

I saw this great article on Curejoy  and thought I would share.

Blend 1 lemon, 1 cucumber, 1 tbs grated ginger, 1 tbs of aloe vera juice, a bunch of cilantro/parsley and ½ glass of water until smooth and drink before bedtime. This drink boosts your metabolism rate and burn fat as you sleep. Cucumber and lemon flush fat and toxins respectively, while ginger eases digestion and parsley/cilantro is rich in antioxidants.

Metabolism is the rate at which your body burns calories. Making smart choices about what you eat and drink (like fat burning foods and calorie burning drinks) can help boost your metabolism even while you sleep.

Bedtime Calorie Burning Drink

Sipping a glass of this juice before bedtime can trigger fat burn – especially around your belly, while you sleep. A quick look at the ingredients that combine together to dissolve stubborn fat:

  • Cucumbers are hydrating and great at working on those tricky fat reserves. You cannot keep them out of any weight loss drinks.
  • Parsley and cilantro are low in calories, and loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. They are supper-effective at easing water retention, and soothing an inflated tummy.
  • Ginger is a super-spice that fires up your metabolism and supports a healthy digestive system.
  • Lemon juice is an effective toxin buster that flushes out excess fat and impurities from the system.
  • Aloe Vera juice is full of antioxidants that delay the development of free radicals that cause inflammation and bloating.

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of aloe vera juice
  • A bunch of either cilantro or parsley
  • ½ glass of water

Simply add the ingredients together, blend them and drink a glass of the juice before bedtime.

Stay Hydrated: Drink Lots of Water

Whether your body is turning food into fuel or working away at your fat reserves, it needs water to efficiently burn calories. If you are not fully hydrated, your metabolism will slow down and you won’t be burning calories as efficiently as you can. So drink up and give your metabolism a little boost.

Makes about 8

5. bake for 6 to 8 minutes until done, make sure not to burn them.

if you decide to use the chocolate chips make sure to melt them and either drip them over the finished cookies or place them in a pipping bag to drip/drizzle.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

( Sugar Free & if you use Almond Flour/meal it is wheat free which makes it lower carb)

1 Cup Butter you can use Earth Balance too ( Softened or melted )

2 Cups of Splenda, Truvia, Eriyhitol or Sweetener of choice

2 Eggs

2 Teaspoons Vanilla or Almond extract

3 Cups of Almond Flour or which ever flour you prefer ( Almond Flour is grain free and lower carb )

1 Teaspoon Baking soda

2 Teaspoons  Hot Water

1/2 Teaspoon Salt ( I use Kosher Salt )

2 cups of Sugar free Chocolate Chips ( I use Hershey’s Where to Buy or Lilly’s Where to Buy)  If you cant find sugar free Chips then get two packages of the Sugar free Chocolate bars and rough chop them to make a chip  ( I have used one bag of Semi and one bag of the milk with caramel filling)

Optional  1 cup of Chopped Pecans ( You can toast these a bit to bring out there flavor)

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Normally you would cream the butter and the sugar together. but since we are using Splenda. either make sure that the butter is really soft or melted and mix it in with the Splenda. beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.  dissolve the baking soda in hot water.  add to batter along with the salt. stir in the flour, chocolate chips and nuts if you desire.  drop by large spoonful’s onto ungreased pans.
  3. bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
